Technology and Prepping for an Interview
In today’s every changing world of technology it is increasingly important to be well prepared for a job interview. There are so many avenues for researching a company and a position that employers typically expect a prospective employee to be up-to-speed before walking in the door. This is an advantage to the job seeker who takes the time to do the necessary prep work. Some of the more obvious ways to prepare include: viewing the company website, looking at stock market numbers if the company is public, read what is out their about the company on the net, research the background of the leaders in the organization. Some additional ways to use the internet include using contacts on sites such as linkedin to provide any information a colleague may have on a company, look at industry related organizations to see if there is any information about a company and possibly even looking on job boards to see what information has been listed about the position.
